Chika Kuwama, M.D.

Dr. Chika Kuwama is an established and highly skilled family physician over 30 years of experience. Dr. Kuwama is a native of Japan, and obtained her medical degree at University of Tokyo, and completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at The University of Tokyo Hospital. After practicing Internal Medicine at local community hospitals in Tokyo for several years, Dr. Kuwama relocated to US to pursue residency training in Family Medicine. She completed her residency training in Family Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel (formerly Beth Israel Medical Center). Dr. Kuwama has been practicing Family Medicine in Edgewater, NJ over 20 years. Dr. Kuwama is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, and board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Yukiko Oe, M.D.

Clinical Assistant Professor, Rutgers New Jersey Medical School

Graduated from Gunma University, School of Medicine. Certified in Japanese Board of Internal Medicine, Cardiology, as well as American Board of Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Intensive Care Medicine. Has clinical experiences in both countries. Currently working as an intensivist and pulmonologist at Valley Medical Group. Joined Hibari Family Medical to pursue her passion to serve for the Japanese/Asian community.

Jessica Chow, M.D.

As a true New Jersey native, Dr. Jessica Chow received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey's School of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency at UMDNJ-RWJMS at CentraState Medical Center, in Freehold, New Jersey. Dr. Chow is Board Certified in Family Medicine and after graduation she went on to work as a locums physician in various states and has gained a lot of experience working in all different types of family physician offices. Here at Hibari Family Medical, she hopes to be able to use the knowledge she has gained to treat and provide preventative care counseling to the patients at this practice. She believes in providing the best care she can for patients and is compassionate to their needs. Dr. Chow is fluent in English and medical Spanish.

Takashi Matsuki, M.D.

TransPacific Wellcare Group Co-Founder

Dr. Takashi Matsuki is a board-certified psychiatrist who offers online and in-person sessions to clients in Manhattan, New Jersey, Texas, and Georgia. He is trained in both medication management and psychotherapy to treat a wide variety of psychiatric disorders. Dr. Matsuki is also on staff at Mount Sinai Morningside and West Hospitals, where he is an Attending Psychiatrist in the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program. He is also an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Matsuki co-founded Hibari Family Medical with Dr. Shimada in August, 2020.
